I decided to enrol on the Performance Health Project because of Lou’s authentic story and various parts of it that resonated with me.

I have tried a couple of other health assessments and treatments, but they were limited in approach and advice, and once registered you were pretty much left to your own devices. I’d had stomach issues for over two years, resulting in all the usual NHS tests, including endoscopy and colonoscopy. Luckily there was nothing to be seen, but the problem was not going away. My own diets to help were not helping either. It was time to find the answer, and when I saw Lou’s PHP Program, I knew it was worth looking at. 

Normal GP and hospital tests are good at concluding yes or no, but not why. Having used Lou for physio in the past I knew that this program would be delivered in the same detailed and comprehensive way. You can just tell that Lou has a real interest in the program and the outcomes it can deliver. At every stage, it is clear what I am doing and what to expect. Any strange issues, (such as from eating peanuts and apple juice!) are quickly explained and given a plan to improve or remove. Lou is always available for those sudden SOS calls. She knows what you are doing and where you are in the program.

Great improvements! I feel so much better physically, and now know exactly what I need to do to keep fit at this level. For example, I have pretty much removed all sugar from my diet as I can see very quickly the effect it has on me. At times I do intake any, I can be prepared…antihistamine and birthday cake anyone?!?

A real understanding of how my body works, and what I do and can do to make it better or worse. There are now some foods I actively avoid. My overall fitness is better and mental clarity is coming back. Early on, Lou was able to suggest what my long term diet may look like, and she is pretty right on that!
